Despite a lukewarm release, the Sony PSP Go is starting to steadily grow in popularity throughout the gaming community. Finally, the PSP Go 3000 is here. This is smaller than the current PSP, and will be available fairly soon in North America. Sony couldn’t be more excited for this remarkable arrival in the gaming industry. Finally, this device should run around $250 in all stores. The screen is a bit smaller than the former PSPs due to the unit’s design. It is also 43% lighter than previous units as well. The screen slides up to show the unit’s controls quite smoothly.

The new PSP has lots of games but even more downloads. These PSP Go downloads are available directly from the Playstation store. It can be detected over a wireless connection. Not to mention Sony claims that all new PSP games will continue to be available on UMD. No one is really sure how long this will last but many companies seem to focus on embracing digital-only distribution. Well Sony has always made a name for themselves and will continue with this ingenious upgrade for the psp.

Soon I will tell you all the wonderful titles that are being made into games for this device. The integration process was transferred from the previous devices such as the PS3 and the PSP line. There were a few developers who were a little concerned with the price but all the games available should put this to rest.
